Elizabeth Sharp Edens, MD, DABOM, IFMCP is a board-certified Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and the founder of Health Meets Wellness and The TouchCare Method. Her work integrates clinical medicine, digital and data-driven innovation, and population health strategy to advance evidence-based approaches to obesity and chronic metabolic disease. She developed TouchCare as a hybrid care platform that combines pharmacotherapy, personalized nutrition, movement science, behavioral health support, and real-time data analytics to deliver scalable, outcomes-focused care across in-person and virtual settings.
Dr. Sharp serves as an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and contributes to medical education through the Institute for Functional Medicine, including collaboration on certification standards. She previously practiced with Mount Sinai Doctors and One Medical and has been recognized for excellence in physician communication. Her clinical and technology-enabled work reflects a systems-based, patient-centered approach to treating chronic disease, with an emphasis on precision care, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainability.
